Hugh Sturrock is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics with the Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI) at the UCSF Global Health Group. He has a broad interest in optimizing surveillance methods for tropical infectious diseases, with his research to date involving a combination of field work, spatial analyses, geostatistics and computerized simulations. With the Global Health Group, Hugh is focusing on ways in which to identify and target populations at risk of malaria.
