Hossein Mozdarani, Professor of Medical Genetics, faculty of Medical Sciences, Tarbiat Modares university, Tehran/ Iran, is engaged in post-graduate research and teaching for 28 years. He has supervised over 26 Ph.D and over 120 M.Sc students for their Thesis projects. He is a leading pioneer in radiation genetic toxicology and genetics of infertility in Iran and has a broad background in genetic toxicology of ionizing radiation as well as chemical and environmental factors affecting human health. His main theme of research is genome instability induced by physico-chemical agents leading to carcinogenesis and ill health such as infertility. His current research focuses on radiation induced early and late genotoxicity, male infertility and genome instability.
