It is widely accepted that the long-term intensive farming and feeding fish with artificial feeds contribute to significant decline in farmed fish flesh quality and excessive fat accumulation. However, few study investigated the molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying different conditional and dietary effects on farmed fish quality and metabolic alterations. We conducted multiple-omics detection to investigate the effects, also to gain systems biology insight into the potentially molecular regulatory mechanisms of physiological alterations.
