Ho-Sung Kim (M’12) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, Korea, in 2007, 2009, and 2013, respectively. Since 2007, he has been a Senior Researcher with the Smart Grid Research Division, Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, Changwon, Korea. His main research interests include high-power-density dc–dc converters, high-efficiency bidirectional ac–dc rectifier systems for low-voltage dc distribution, high-efficiency power factor correction circuits, and power converters for solid-state transformers.
