Shahoei Hiva

Hiva Shahoei (S’09) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran, in 2005, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Tehran Polytechnic University, Tehran, Iran, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON, Canada, in 2014. Her current research interests include photonic processing of microwave signals, and slow and fast light and the applications in microwave photonics. Dr. Shahoei received the 2012 IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Fellowship and the 2013 SPIE Graduate Scholarship.
