Himanshu Goyal

Himanshu Goyal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras - India. Himanshu received his Ph.D. from the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University, USA and has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Delaware, USA. His research group works in the area of multiscale modeling and simulations of multiphase and multiphysics systems with application in clean energy and process intensification technologies. Major focus applications are thermochemical conversion of biomass into fuels and chemicals, chemical looping combustion for carbon capture, and microwave-assisted process intensification.
