I'm a VA HSR&D Career Development Awardee in the Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR) at VA Boston, and an Associate Professor in the Boston University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery. My interests are in patient safety, adverse event detection, quality measurement, and health informatics. I am focused on outpatient surgical adverse event detection and quality improvement.
