Helen’s clinical translational research focus is acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain: investigating and understanding mechanisms underlying musculoskeletal pain using experimental and clinical human pain models; policy-into-practice implementations of current best practice in musculoskeletal pain management; clinical studies on the mechanisms/complex nature of persistent musculoskeletal pain. Helen is a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (Musculoskeletal Specialist).
