For some years now (actually, since 1996), I have been doing a weekly science hour at Wood-Gormley Elementary in Santa Fe. I answer science questions from the children, ranging from bugs to black holes. Nothing beats a good demo, but since there is no budget for equipment, these are 'cardboard and duct tape' experiments, which means you can do these too.
