Hassan Dahie

Dr. Hassan Abdullahi DAHIE, a Somali citizen residing in Mogadishu, is qualified and experienced medical educationist, public health specialist, development expert and researcher with over ten cumulative years of experience in designing and implementing medical education programs, conducting public health researches, teaching at University level and supervision of graduate students. Held leadership and management roles with numerous developments and humanitarian programmes in different organizations. With a hands-on expertise in strategic partnership management and capacity building, leadership and management of complex, multi-sector and integrated relief programs including 2011 famine and 2016/7 prefamine response programs. DR. DAHIE completed his Ph.D. in Peace, Governance and Development from United Nations University for Peace. He is also a holder of two Master’s Degree in Public Health and in Medical Education from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Nairobi. Moreover, he holds a Bachelor of Science in General Nursing from Mogadishu University (MU) and Diploma in Registered Community Health Nursing from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School of Nursing. Furthermore, he has a number of diplomas and certificates in Health Systems Management, Project Management, Public Health Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, Teaching Methodologies & Instructional Designs, Clinical Research, and Data Management & Analysis. He has an extensive knowledge with proven skill and experience in the field of education, curriculum design & analysis, vocational training and quantitative & qualitative Health Researches.
