Hassène GRITLI received the Engineer's degree and the Master's degree in Industrial Informatics and Automation from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie (INSAT) - Tunisia) in 2006 and in 2007, respectively. He received in 2013 the PhD degree and later on in 2020 the HDR degree both in Electrical Engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis (École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tunis (ENIT)), Tunisia. Form 2008 to 2012, he was an assistant at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (Institut Supérieur des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie (ISSAT) de Mateur), Tunisia. He was also, from 2012 until 2014, a Technologist at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies (Institut Supérieur des Etudes Technologiques (ISET) de Kélibia), Tunisia. From 2014 until nowadays, he was an associate professor at the Higher Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (Institut Supérieur des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication (ISTIC) de Borj Cedria), Tunisia. He is presently a tenured research scientist in Robotics and Automatic Control at the Laboratory of Robotics, Informatics and Complex Systems (RISC Lab) at ENIT. His main research interests include: biped robots; exoskeleton robots; impacting mechanical systems; impulsive hybrid dynamical systems; chaos and bifurcations theory; chaos control; linear and nonlinear control; Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI); observer design; observer-based feedback control; static output feedback control; active disturbance rejection control; and application to real-world models. He organized Special Sessions on ``''Chaotic Systems'' and on ``''LMIs'' in international conferences as the IEEE SSD'15 and the IEEE IC_ASET'19. He is a Guest Editor of a special issue in the ''``Journal of Healthcare Engineering''. He delivered a keynote lecture on ''``Robust control of state/input-constrained robotic systems: An LMI approach'' at the conference IEEE SSD'20. He also chaired various sessions in some international conferences. He published about 60 technical papers in international journals and international conferences. He serves as a regular referee for many international journals and conferences in the field of Control Theory and Robotics.
