After practicing professionally as a radiation therapist for 10 years, Nicole participated heavily in the evolution of radiation therapy education including the development of the first joint BSc/Diploma program offered by the University of Toronto and The Michener Institute. Nicole coordinated the program until becoming the Dean of Diagnostic Imaging and Therapy at The Michener. Most recently, Nicole co-lead the development of a professional master’s program for radiation therapists at the University of Toronto – the first of its kind in North America. Nicole also co-leads the educational initiatives within the Accelerated Education Program, including the IGRT, IMRT and the QSRT Education Courses. The key goal of the program is develop intensive continuing education opportunities for interprofessional radiation medicine teams to assist them with the accelerated adoption and integration of new technologies and techniques locally.
