I am primarily a Clincian - Researcher and my PhD was in Trauma Systems for LMIC's. I work as Chief Surgeon and Director of the Trauma Service at IALCH and am the Head of the Trauma Surgery Sub-speciality training program at UKZN. I also am a voluntary medical director of a community EMS service and small private service. Since June 2019 I am the Research Associate Professor for Health Sciences at DUT part-time.
