Masashi Hamaya

Masashi Hamaya (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Osaka University, in 2019. From 2014 to 2019, he was an Intern Student at the Department of Brain Robot Interface, ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories. Since 2019, he has been a Senior Researcher with the Robotics Group, OMRON SINIC X Corporation. His research interests include robotics, soft robotics, human–robot interaction, and robot learning. He received the IEEE Kansai Section Student Paper Award, in 2018, and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Japan Joint Chapter Young Award, in 2019. He is a member of RSJ.
