Malay Haldar received the B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1998, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, in 1999, and the Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Northwestern University in 2001. He was cofounder and principal software engineer of AccelChip, Inc., Milpitas, CA. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer with Calypto Design Systems, Santa Clara, CA.
