Ruipeng Guo has been engaged in scientific research and software development of optimization technology and its application in power system, automatic voltage control of power grid, etc. The real-time automatic voltage control system and power grid operation mode decision support system have been successfully developed. The developed real-time automatic voltage control system for power grid runs in four provincial and several regional power grids. The power grid operation mode decision support system has been applied to three provinces and several regional power grids in China. He has won 3 provincial second-class prizes, 2 third-class prizes, 1 second-class prize for scientific and technological progress of State Grid Corporation, and 1 third-class prize for national power science and technology.
