Guida Veiga

Guida Veiga currently works at the Sports and Health Department, University of Evora. Guida does research in Human Kinetics and Developmental Psychology. Her teachings and research specialties are mainly focused on body oriented techniques, such as play and relaxation techniques, and on methods of observation and assessment. She is also interested in socio-emotional and motor development. Her current projects are 'ESACA - Ageing Safely in Alentejo. Understanding for Action', 'Being deaf at the playground - the effect of a hearing loss on children's social participation', and "Outdoor Oriented Practices for Early Childhood Education".
