个人简介
Graeme O’Keefe received the Ph.D. degree in experimental
photonuclear physics from the University of Melbourne, Parkville, Australia, in 1995.
In 1992, he was appointed as a Stroke Research Fellow (Centre for PET, Austin Hospital) and played a key role in the
establishment of the first of two PET centres in Australia at the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg. He is the Principal
Medical Imaging Scientist with the Austin Health PET Centre. He is a Senior Fellow with the Detector Development,
Experimental Particle Physics Group, the University of Melbourne, where he works on novel detector applications for
PET. His major current research interests include positron emission technology (PET) instrumentation
(radiation-dosimetry) and quantification (kinetic modeling, simulation) in oncology and neurology (Alzheimers, stroke,
psychiatry), as well as targeted antibody therapies. He has published more than 40 papers in leading, specialised
journals (including Annals of Neurology, Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Neurology, Synapse, Journal of Affective
Disorders, Lancet Neurol, Molecular Imaging and Biology, Neuropsychologia, Neuroimage, Journal of Neurology,
Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry, Nuclear Medicine and Biology, Clinical Cancer Research, Journal of Clinical
Neuroscience, and Human Brain Mapping) and contributed to a diverse range of nuclear imaging research
projects.
