The group has varied interests from planetary interiors and diamond formation to bio-geochemical cycles and applied environmental geochemistry. A major growth area is applying isotope geochemistry in provenance studies across almost all facets of the physical sciences and humanities. This work results in multi-disciplinary collaborations with experts in Forensic-Life-Archaeology-Art History and Food science.The most high profile work has lead to TV and press reports on art works at the Rijksmuseum, more than 10 murder cases and the remains of world war II soldiers.
