Prof. Marshall's mixed methods research examines primary healthcare from patient, provider, & system perspectives to address the quintuple aim: promoting equity, population health, enhancing patient experience, optimizing costs, & supporting care team well-being. Foci include access, continuity, & comprehensiveness to improve equity & optimize outcomes across the life course. She leads several pan-Canadian studies, and is the 2020 recipient of the NAPCRG Mid-Career Researcher Award.
