Together with national and international collaborators, I aim to develope more sensitive variables to detect environmental changes, and to use top/meso predators as sentinel species for biomonitoring the impact of environmental changes on natural ecosystems. I use multidisciplinary approaches to investigate the synergetic interaction between different environmental stressors affecting marine communities, their ecological or demographic responses and their ability to buffer environmentally-driven impacts in oceanic trophic pathway
