Francisco Rodriguez

F. Rodriguez is Full Professor of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control at the University of Almeria (Spain). He obtained his Telecommunication Engineering degree from Madrid Polytechnics University and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Almeria in 2002 focused on Agriculture automation (Greenhouse Crop control). Now he is member of the Automatic Control, Robotic and Mechatronic research group of of the Andalusia Government. He is an expert on the application of modeling, automatic control, and robotics techniques to agricultural systems, safe energy, building comfort and education. Its main lines of research are hierarchical and multi-objective control systems applied to agriculture greenhouse and energy management in heterogeneous and interconnected systems.
