个人简介
I am interested in the study of the physiological mechanisms that fish display to overcome energetic demands, with a particular emphasis on metabolic fuel selection and growth. My research program use an integrative approach to investigate structural, physiological, molecular and genomic adjustments that may be take place in fish under stress or during environmental challenging conditions and how these responses may be modulated by the diet. The ultimate goal of my research findings is to assist the aquaculture industry by increasing its competitiveness and sustainability.
