Francesco Gentile

Francesco Gentile received the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Calabria in 2003 and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the Magna Graecia University, Catanzaro, Italy, in 2008. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electric Engineering and Information Technology, University Federico II, Naples, Italy. Prof. Gentile is engaged in research in biomedical nanotechnology. He uses mathematical modeling and nanotechnologies to engineer solutions to biomedical problems. He authored more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and he is the inventor of five issued patents.
