His researches delve into the characterization of the planetary boundary layer, with focus on the turbulent processes developing on morphologically complex terrains. Main research lines include stationary and non-stationary dynamics on sloping terrain, ventilation and air pollution removal in urban canopies with vegetation, multiscale dynamics of the urban heat island, turbulent processes within a saturated coastal fog environment. Developed expertise in measurements techniques and data analysis
