Ferdous Hossain was born in Bangladesh. He received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and engineering and the M.Sc. degree in information and communication technology from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangladesh, in 2012 and 2015, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2019. He has authored and coauthored a number of international journals and conference papers. His research areas include radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, radio propagation for outdoor and indoor, image processing, and big data analysis. He is also an Associate Member of the Bangladesh Computer Society, Bangladesh.
