个人简介
My background includes different training periods and a Ph.D. during which I have acquired expertise in the areas of cell death signaling, cell proliferation, cancer and epigenetics. During Master’s degree thesis, I focused on the discovery of new chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of leukaemia and the elucidation of their mechanisms of action. As Ph.D. researcher in epigenetics, I studied the role of RING1B on neural stem cells and hematopoietic progenitor cells proliferation, focusing on the indirect control on cell cycle progression consequently of the activation of DNA damage response. In the last months, I have decided to continue my career in the field of cancer immunotherapy, and more specifically in the development of novel therapeutic antibodies against different tumor types, because of my desire to focus my knowledges and efforts on more translational research in order to have a major impact on other people’s health and in particular in cancer treatment. Concretely, I aim to combine my background in the areas of cancer and epigenetic with the purpose to develop and evaluate new anti-tumor antibodies, in particular to find a concrete and therapeutic option for rare cancer, as mesothelioma and melanoma. Actually, I am a post-doctoral fellow at Bioscience laboratory at IRST to gain experience in immunotherapy field. I want to continue contributing to research efforts furthering this important cause.
