Fuan Tsai

Fuan Tsai received the B.S. degree in civil engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1989, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in civil and environmental engineering with a concentration in remote sensing from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He served as a Junior Officer in the R.O.C. Marine Corps from 1989 to 1991, and was a Civil Design Engineer from 1991 to 1993. From 1996 to 1998, he was a Graduate Research Assistant in the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Los Alamos, NM, where he participated in several remote sensing and visualization projects. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at LANL. His research interests include remote sensing/hyperspectral image analysis, geographic information sciences, and scientific visualization/phenomenology.
