Francesco Costanzo

Francesco Costanzo received the Laurea degree in ingegneria aeronautica from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University in 1993. He is a Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Pennsylvania State University, where he also holds appointments with the Departments of Mathematics, Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. His current research revolves around numerical computations of fluid flow in biomedical problems, including metabolite waste clearance in brain, biodegradation of tissue engineered materials, and microacoustofluidics.
