Fernando Antonio Basile Colugnati

I have background in statistics from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and doctorate in sciences by Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP, 2005) with a fellowship at CDC, Atlanta-USA(2004) and post-doctorate in science, technology and innovation evaluation at UNICAMP (2013). My current position is associate professor at Internship Department of Federal University of Juiz de Foras' Medicine School (2013). There, I participate in two research groups, the Multidisciplinary Group for Studies, Research and Treatment in Neprhology (NIEPEN/ Medicine School) and the Reference Center in Research, Intervention and Evaluation in Alcohol and Other Drugs (CREPEIA/ Psychology Dept.) acting also as advisor for master degree and doctorate in both groups. Main research areas include: biostatistical methods to assess clinical evolution of pre-dialysis patients in secondary health care, smoking habits and smoking treatment in chronic condition patients and health technology assessment of treatments for chronic diseases and smoking cessation in this patients.
