Eric Vasiliauskas

Dr. Vasiliauskas is an internationally-recognized expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease & longtime proponent of personalized medicine & individualized therapy who has long recognized the existence of subgroups within Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis & how these subtleties influence IBD expression, disease course, & responses to traditional medical & surgical interventions, as well as to dietary & other alternative approaches. DrV is Professor of Medicine & Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine & member of the F. Widjaja Foundation Inflammatory Bowel & Immunobiology Research Institute. DrV is director of the Cedars-Sinai Nutrition & Integrative IBD Subspecialty Program, exploring the role of nutrition, dietary manipulations, & other nontraditional interventions in the management IBD.
