Elena Savidge

Elena Savidge received the B.S. degree (Hons.) in Earth and ocean science from the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada, in 2020. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in geophysics with the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO, USA, under the supervision of Dr. Matthew R. Siegfried. As part of the Mines Glaciology Laboratory, she uses thermal and optical imagery combined with hydrographic measurements to study ice-ocean processes in West Antarctica. Ms. Savidge is a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postgraduate Scholarship—Doctoral Fellow.
