Ekaterina Mikhaylova received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. She was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Biomedical Engineering Department, University of California at Davis. After that, she became a Postdoctoral Researcher of the MEDISIP Group, University of Ghent, Belgium. Her current research interest includes detector development and simulations of a simultaneous in-beam PET/Prompt Gamma Imaging systems for proton range verification during proton therapy.
