Edlaine Faria de Moura Villela

Epidemiologist and professor with experience in public health surveillance; epidemiological methods; promotion, health education and communication. Currently, she is Technical Director of Health of the Disease Control Coordination-SES/SP and Executive Editor of the São Paulo Epidemiological Bulletin (Bepa) and President of the State Committee for Surveillance of Maternal and Child Death of São Paulo. Performs post-doctorate in Global Health with application of Mixed Epidemiological Methods by the Institute of Global Health of the University of Antwerp/Belgium. Effective professor of the Postgraduate Program in Collective Health at the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health (IPTSP) at Federal University of Goiás. She was Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at UFG and also a Consultant for the Pan American Health Organization, providing services for the Ministry of Health. Currently, she is coordinator of the International Citizen Project Covid-19 (ICPCovid) in Brazil. Background: Post-Doctorate in Evaluation of Public Health Policies by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III/Madrid and Post-Doctorate in Medical Education by the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at USP; PhD in Epidemiology and Master in Public Health from the Faculty of Public Health at USP; Specializations: Education for health professions (Faimer); Epidemiology Management (Johns Hopkins); Teaching in Health Education (Einstein); Scientific dissemination in Health (Unicamp); Environmental Health (USP); Graduation in Biological Sciences (Unesp), Information Science (USP) and Pedagogy (Uninove).
