Remme Espen W

Espen W. Remme was born in Skien, Norway, in 1971. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Telemark Institute of Technology, Porsgrunn, Norway, in 1994 and the M.Sc. degree in engineering cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1998. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2004 from the same university. He spent 3.5 years at the Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland, New Zealand, during his Ph.D. work and later as a postdoctoral student. Since 2004, he has been employed as researcher at the Department of Cardiology and the Interventional Center, Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo. His research interests include modeling and simulations of cardiac mechanics/physiology and cardiac imaging.
