I am a Research Fellow with the NHMRC CRE in Digestive Health working to better understand the interaction between gut microbiome and human health. My PhD was awarded by The University of Queensland, supervised by Prof. Morrison, Hugenholtz and Tyson. My PhD focused on functional and comparative studies of heterotrophic methanogens from different gut environments. My work was supported by an Australian Postgraduate Award and Meat and Livestock Australia.
