个人简介
Being the co-author of an introductory text to special education, now in its 14th ed. (Exceptional Learners: Introduction to Special Education, 2019, Pearson), I stay up to date on research related to students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, ASD, blindness, deafness, as well as parents of children with disabilities. My specific research interests are cognitive and metacognitive strategies; intensive and systematic instruction, especially for students with LD and/or ADHD; and epidemiological factors affecting the prevalence of disabilities, identification for special education, and educational placement decisions.
