Djaffar Ould Abdeslam

Djaffar Ould Abdeslam (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria, in April 1976. He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Franche-Comté, Besançon, France, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree and the Habilitation degree in electrical engineering from the University of Haute-Alsace, Mulhouse, France, in 2005 and 2014, respectively. Since 2007, he has been an Associate Professor with the University of Haute-Alsace. His research interest includes artificial neural networks applied to power systems, signal processing for power quality improvement, smart metering, smart building, and smart grids.
