Maggie Dinome

I am a surgical breast oncologist who has been in practice for over 20 years. I completed my undergraduate education at Yale University, my medical school at Duke, my general surgery residency at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a surgical oncology research fellowship at UCLA. I was the chief of breast surgery and director of Breast Health for UCLA prior to joining the faculty at Duke University. My translational research interests focus on epigenetic modifications in breast cancer, and my clinical research interests focus on the de-escalation of lymph node surgery for patients with lymph node positive disease.
