Diego Gomez Martinez

Coordinator of the Volcanological and Seismological Pasto Observatory (from January 2004 to November 2022), which belongs to the Colombian Geological Survey. We are incharged of monitoring and research of 7 active volcanoes in the SW part of Colombia (Chiles, Cerro Negro, Cumbal, Azufral, Galeras, Dona Juana y Las Animas), using different geophysical and geochemical techniques. Also working with authorities and communities on social appropriation of geoscientific knowledge.
