Didier Rouxel

Didier Rouxel was born in Lyon, France, in 1965. He received the Engineer degree from the École Supérieure des Sciences et Techniques de l’Ingénieur de Nancy, Nancy, France, and the Ph.D. degree in material sciences and engineering from the University of Nancy I, Nancy, France, in 1993. Since 2013, he has been the Leader of the “Micro and NanoSystems” Group of the Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy, France. He is currently a Full Professor of the University of Lorraine, Lorraine, France, and the Institut Jean Lamour of Nancy, Nancy, France. His current research interests include physical chemistry of surfaces and thin films, and more recently on Brillouin spectroscopy, piezoelectric materials, nanomaterials and polymer nanocomposites.
