His research interests include rhinology; allergy and clinical immunology; role of inflammatory cells, mediators and cytokines in allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis and nasal polyposis; investigation of genetic and epigenetic mechanisms in inflammatory nasal diseases; efficacy of different anti-allergic drugs in treatment of allergic rhinitis; allergen specific immunotherapy; physiological and immunological functions of the nose; immunological function of the tonsil; implication of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in study of aerodynamics, and nasal epithelial stem cell research.
