Professor David S Sanders is a Professor of Gastroenterology and a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the University of Sheffield. He has published more than 400 peer reviewed papers (H-score >60), and is internationally recognised for his work in coeliac disease, gastrostomy feeding and small bowel endoscopy; his other research interests include pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, irritable bowel syndrome and gastrointestinal bleeding.
