David J. Porfirio is a PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the People and Robots Laboratory. His goal is to investigate and build new technologies that can help people program social robots. He creates software and hard-ware interfaces that capture the intent of interaction designers, developers, and end users, for the purpose of synthesizing interaction programs and verifying their correctness.
