Bio
David P. Biss received the B.S. degree in physics and mathematics from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, in 2005.
Initially, he was with Dipankar Roy's Research Group, Department of Physics, Clarkson University, where he was engaged in research on metal–liquid interfaces. Thereafter, he joined the Thomas G. Brown's Research Group, where he was engaged in research on inhomogeneously polarized beams in microscopy for applications in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Charles Lin and Dr. Rob Webb at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. His current research interests include the application of adaptive optics techniques to retinal imaging in mice.
