David Facal currently works at the Departamento de Psicologia Evolutiva y de la Educacion, University of Santiago de Compostela. David does research in Developmental Psychology and Cognitive Aging. His current research interests are the longitudinal process of cognitive aging, including early signs of cognitive impairment, Mild Cognitive Impairment and Cognitive Frailty, the role of cognitive reserve and the development computerized cognitive interventions. He is member of the Galician research networks in frailty (http://frailnet.es) and dementia (http://regidem.imaisd.es), and he has acted as a a Review Expert for the European Commission in Horizon 2020 H3 – E-Health, Well-being and Ageing and for the Andalusian Government's Health Department.
