I am a researcher in astrophysics and cosmology. I work mostly on trying to extract information about fundamental physics from the distribution of galaxies in the Universe, and from the statistics of the temperature fluctuations of the so-called Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), the afterglow of the Big Bang. I am in particular very interested in employing new computational and statistical methods to approach these problems, and in finding novel ways of combining different datasets to learn more about physics. I do most of my work within two international collaborations: the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope and the Simons Observatory.
