Daniela Monti

My research activity at the Istituto di Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche G. Natta (SCITEC), CNR, ranges from the discovery and characterization of novel enzymes, e.g., by (meta)genome mining and protein engineering, to the development of efficient biocatalyzed processes, e.g., through the optimization of enzyme expression in heterologous hosts, the use of free and immobilized enzymes, and the application of multienzymatic and chemo-enzymatic cascade systems.
