My project aims to identify cell surface molecules specific for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN)-initiating stem cells, which should facilitate their enrichment and may lead to the detection of therapeutic targets through which neoplastic stem cells of MPN can be eradicated using specific targeted drugs – with the long term aim to develop better (curative) treatment approaches in MPN.
