Finan Daniel A

Daniel A. Finan received his B.S. degree from the University of Colorado in 2003 and his Ph.D. degree from UCSB in 2008, both in chemical engineering. His graduate and postdoctoral research has focused on modeling, monitoring, and control strategies for type 1 diabetes, and he also has a strong interest in clinical diabetes research. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Technical University of Denmark in the Copenhagen area. In his spare time, he writes crossword puzzles for The New York Times and other publications.
